Our Club
Our Club is a group of mostly retired men and women aged 55 years and upward who seek involvement for the benefit of the community and for socialising with like minded people.
Our Projects
Build and raffle a playhouse each year, Run a book fair in association with other local Lions Clubs, Sell firewood and pine cones, Sell Lions Christmas cakes, Run a bowls gala, Run a Duck Race on the Waikanae river
Our Members
Our club has around 35 active members with service length varying from over 30 years to those who have recently joined. We are proud to be a mixed gender club.
Supported Charities
Club members have assisted a variety of local causes including Wellington Free Ambulance, Mary Potter Hospice, Foundation of the Blind, Camp Quality, Emergency Medical Service, Life Flight Trust, Kapiti Diabetes, Cancer Society, Life Education Trust and so the list goes on.
