Our Members

Kapiti Pakeke is one of the 5 Lions Clubs located in the central part of the Kapiti Coast. It is a group of mostly retired men and women aged 55 years and upward who seek involvement for the benefit of the community and for socialising with like minded people.

Who We Support

Club members have assisted a variety of local causes including Wellington Free Ambulance, Mary Potter Hospice, Foundation of the Blind, Camp Quality, Emergency Medical Service, Life Flight Trust, Kapiti Diabetes, Cancer Society, Life Education Trust and so the list goes on

Membership Involvement

Our club has around 27 active members with service length varying from over 30 years to those who have recently joined. We are proud to be a mixed gender club. We have a timetable of activities, which meets the needs of our members, who in the true spirit of Lionism seek involvement in activities which benefit their community. Our Club supports local charities as a first priority.
