Lions are members of Lions Clubs International, a community service organisation dedicated to the idea that the men and women who live in a community are in the best position to know who needs help and why. Local Clubs are part of the world’s largest such organization, with 1.4 million members serving in more than 180 countries and areas.
We have two meetings each month , a business meeting at 9:30 am on the second Monday of each month and a dinner meeting at 6:15 pm on the fourth Wednesday evening of the month.
At the business meeting we plan projects and decide on which charitable causes we will support.
The dinner meeting is a social occasion where we gather with our spouses and partners to socialise, have a bit of fun, have dinner together and usually listen to a guest speaker.
Visitors and prospective members are welcome to attend any meeting. If you wish to attend a meeting as a guest of the club, at no cost to you or your partner, please contact the Membership Director who will make the necessary arrangements.
